Return to the world of dark fantasy and enter the dungeons of hell in Diablo II – an action role-playing hack and slash video game developed by Blizzard North and published by Blizzard Entertainment in 2000. This game is a sequel to the hit 1996 Diablo. Diablo II continues the dark fantasy story of the previous installment.
Choose your character from five different character classes, including Amazon, Necromancer, Barbarian, Sorceress, and Paladin. Each character has a unique set of skills, strengths, weaknesses, and attributes. Complete a series of quests within the four chapters (also called as ‘Acts).’ The game has three sequential difficulty levels: Normal, Nightmare, and Hell. The higher your level, the more it’s difficult to defeat your monster enemies. Descend deeper and deeper into a Gothic-themed dungeon and hell as the game progresses. Engage in battles using a variety of powerful weapons and armor with varying quality levels. There is also a crafting system which allows players to combine two or more items to create a new object.
Diablo II can be played in single-player and multiplayer modes. It has a co-op gameplay option which supports up to eight players. Form a party or play individually and fight monsters to gain rewards and gold. It’s time to fight the villains and defeat the Lord of Terror. Do you have the courage to enter the dungeons of hell? Diablo II is available to play on Windows, Classic Mac OS, and macOS PCs.
