Hearthstone focuses on a one versus one format where players must use a deck of cards that they have created to defeat their opponents. The game offers nine heroes with unique abilities and cards available only to them. These heroes are the Shaman, Warrior, Paladin, Druid, Mage, Rogue, Warlock, Priest and Hunter.
You can choose to build your own deck from a selection of minion cards, spell cards, weapon cards and the hero cards exclusive to the hero you to play with. Start with one mana and then gain another for each turn until the maximum of 10. Players could use the cards they have on their deck for a certain amount of mana. This strategy encourages players to think wisely about the cards they have to play for each turn. This fast-paced game features a wild mode where all cards are allowed to be played.
There is also a standard mode where only classic cards and expansion cards from the last two years are allowed to be put in play. Both Standard and Wild mode allows players to either play on casual or ranked mode. The ranked mode allows players to climb up the game’s ranking system while the Casual mode allows players to have fun or test out new decks.
